General
9 answersHow do I get started?
Book a free 30-minute discovery call or send us a message. We'll look at your site, talk about your goals and recommend the right next step. You then get a written scope with a fixed price before any work starts.
Do I need a minimum amount of traffic to work with you?
No. If you're just starting out we focus on building pages and funnels that convert from day one. With more traffic, we can also run proper A/B tests to keep improving.
Do you only work with Shopify?
No. Shopify is a big part of what we do, but we also build fully custom websites, WordPress sites and landing pages on any platform, plus SEO, Google Ads and content marketing.
How quickly will I see results?
Landing page and CRO changes can show results within days. One client went from 1.52% to 3.6% conversion in 3 days. SEO and content take longer, typically a few months.
How much does a project cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a free call, so you know the full price upfront. Audits start from £499.
Will my team be able to update the site?
Yes. Everything we build is set up so your team can change text, images and products without touching code, and we're here for support after launch.
Do you work with brands outside the UK?
Yes. We're based in the UK and work with brands across the UK, US, Europe and Australia, with video calls at times that suit you.
Can I see examples of your work?
Yes. Our case studies page shows 15 real client projects with the problem, the approach and the results, and our reviews page lists 502 verified client reviews with an average rating of 4.9.
Is TechGenix IT a registered company?
Yes. TechGenix IT Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 16226399, with its registered office in Barking, Essex.
Process & working together
9 answersSee how we workHow long does a project take?
It depends on scope. A single landing page usually takes days, a custom Shopify feature often one to two weeks, and a full redesign or custom website longer. You get an honest, fixed timeline with your quote before any work starts.
How do you price your work?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a free discovery call, so you know the full price upfront with no surprises. Ongoing work like CRO, SEO or ads runs on a fixed monthly fee. Post-click audits start from £499.
Will my live site be affected while you work?
No. We build on a private staging site or a duplicate draft theme, so your live site keeps selling. You preview everything and we only publish when you approve it.
How many revisions do I get?
Revision rounds are agreed upfront in your quote. Because you sign off the wireframe before visual design starts, most feedback is small refinements rather than starting again.
Who will I actually work with?
Every project is led by our founder, Ifti Nur, a Shopify Partner with 6+ years in e-commerce. Strategy, design, development and testing happen in one team, so nothing gets lost in hand-offs.
What access do you need from us?
Usually read-only access to your analytics (like GA4) and access to your store or website admin. We'll tell you exactly what we need after the discovery call, and we can still start from the live site if access takes time.
How do we stay in touch during the project?
Video calls at times that suit you, plus WhatsApp, email or your own Slack and Figma. We reply within one working day.
Do I own the work at the end?
Yes. Once the project is paid, the code, design files and content are yours. No lock-in, and campaigns run in your own accounts.
What happens after launch?
You get a walkthrough so your team can update text, images and products without touching code. If you want to keep growing, we can carry on with monthly testing, new pages and support.
Landing Page & Funnel Builds
8 answersExplore the serviceHow quickly can my pages go live?
A single landing page usually takes days, not months. Full funnels depend on scope, and you get a fixed timeline with your quote before any work starts.
Do you work with Replo, GemPages, PageFly or Shogun?
Yes. We build on whatever you already use: Shopify (Liquid), Replo, GemPages, PageFly, Shogun, WordPress or fully custom code. The platform is your choice; the conversion thinking is ours.
Do you write the copy as well as design the pages?
Yes. Every build includes copy written by conversion copywriters, based on your customer reviews, surveys and ads, so the page sounds like you and speaks to what your buyers care about.
Why not just generate landing pages with AI?
AI gives you speed, not direction. We use AI to speed up research, but every page is shaped by real customer data and proven conversion patterns. AI on its own produces polished pages that rarely sell.
Can this be a one-off project?
Yes. You can order a single page or a full funnel as a one-off project, or work with us on an ongoing basis where we keep testing and improving. We'll recommend what fits on your free call.
Will a new landing page slow down my store?
No. We keep pages lightweight with compressed images, minimal apps and clean code, and test speed on mobile before launch. Our own site scores 100 for performance on Google Lighthouse desktop.
Can my team edit the pages afterwards?
Yes. Everything is set up so your team can change text, images, offers and products without touching code, and we're here for support after launch.
How much does a landing page cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a free discovery call, based on the number of pages and what's involved, so you know the full price upfront with no surprises.
Conversion Rate Optimisation
9 answersExplore the serviceWhat is conversion rate optimisation?
CRO is the process of turning more of your existing visitors into customers. We research why people don't buy, fix the biggest problems, and test changes so you know what actually raised revenue, rather than guessing.
How much traffic do I need for CRO?
You don't need huge traffic to start. With lower traffic we focus on research-led fixes from our checklist, analytics and recordings. Once you have enough visitors and orders, we add proper A/B tests to prove each change.
How quickly will I see results?
Fixes for clear problems can show results within days. One client went from a 1.52% to a 3.6% conversion rate in 3 days with no extra ad spend. Testing programmes compound over months, so the biggest gains build over time.
What's the difference between CRO and a redesign?
A redesign replaces everything at once, which is risky. CRO improves the site you already have, one tested change at a time, so you keep what works and only change what's proven to lift sales.
Which platforms do you work with?
Mostly Shopify and Shopify Plus, plus WooCommerce, WordPress and custom sites. We build our own test variations, so you don't need a separate developer.
Which tools do you use?
We work with the tools you already have where we can: GA4, heatmaps and session recordings like Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar, and an A/B testing tool that suits your store and budget.
Do you guarantee results?
No honest agency can guarantee a test will win. What we do guarantee is a clear process: research first, fixes ranked by revenue impact, and a full report on what we tested and what we learned.
How do you charge for CRO?
Most clients start with a one-off audit, then move to a monthly CRO programme. Every engagement gets a fixed price after a free discovery call, so there are no surprises.
Who does the work?
Every programme is led by our founder, Ifti Nur, with 6+ years of e-commerce and Shopify experience. Research, design, development and testing are done by the same team, so nothing gets lost in hand-offs.
Post-Click Audits
8 answersExplore the serviceWhat is a post-click audit?
It's a review of everything that happens after someone clicks your ad or search result: the landing page, product pages, cart, checkout, speed and tracking. We find what stops people buying and rank the fixes by how much revenue they're likely to unlock.
How is this different from an ads audit?
An ads audit looks at what happens before the click: targeting, bids and creatives. A post-click audit looks at what happens after it. If your ads get clicks but not sales, the problem is usually post-click.
What do I actually receive?
A prioritised list of fixes, not a 50-page PDF. Each finding includes what's wrong, why it matters, where it is, screenshots from desktop and mobile, and an impact and cost score, so you know exactly what to do first.
How much does an audit cost?
Audits start from £499. The final price depends on how many page types and funnels we review. You get a fixed price after the free discovery call, before any work starts.
What access do you need?
For a full audit, read-only access to your analytics (like GA4) and your store admin helps us check tracking and real behaviour. We can still audit the live site without access, and we'll note anything we couldn't check.
Which platforms do you audit?
Mostly Shopify and Shopify Plus, plus WooCommerce, WordPress, custom sites and landing page builders like PageFly, GemPages and Replo.
Can you fix the issues for us?
Yes. You can implement the fixes with your own team, or we can design and build them for you. Many clients start with an audit and then move into an ongoing CRO programme.
Do I need a lot of traffic for an audit?
No. An audit is based on proven conversion principles, your analytics and a review of the live site, so it's useful even before you have enough traffic for A/B testing.
Strategic Workshops & Consultancy
8 answersExplore the serviceWhat happens in a strategy workshop?
We review your data and site beforehand, then run a focused session with your team to agree the real problems, generate ideas and prioritise them. You leave with a clear action plan, not just a page of notes.
Who should attend?
Whoever makes or influences decisions about your website and marketing: founders, marketing, e-commerce, design and development. We'll suggest the right people for your goal on the discovery call.
Are workshops remote or in person?
Workshops run remotely by video call, at times that suit your team, so we can work with brands across the UK, US, Europe and Australia.
How long is a workshop?
It depends on the goal. A focused session can be a few hours; a deeper programme can be split across several shorter sessions so your team isn't away from their work for a full day. We'll agree the format upfront.
What do we get afterwards?
A written summary with the agreed priorities, owners and next steps, usually as a prioritised roadmap your team can start on straight away.
What's the difference between a workshop and consultancy?
A workshop is a one-off session to align your team and build a plan. Consultancy is an ongoing partnership: regular strategy calls and reviews to keep the plan on track and adjust it as results come in.
Can you also do the work afterwards?
Yes. We can design and build the changes, run your CRO programme or audit your store. Or your team can run with the plan on its own.
How much does a workshop cost?
Every workshop gets a fixed price after a free discovery call, based on the format, number of sessions and preparation involved.
Full Website Redesigns
8 answersExplore the serviceHow long does a full redesign take?
It depends on scope. A focused redesign of a few key templates can take a few weeks; a full store rebuild takes longer. You get a fixed timeline with your quote before any work starts, with no padding.
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
Not when it's done properly. We map every old URL to its new home with 301 redirects, carry over your titles, descriptions and structured data, test speed on mobile and monitor Search Console after launch.
Do you only redesign Shopify stores?
Shopify and Shopify Plus are most of our redesign work, but we also redesign WordPress, WooCommerce and fully custom sites. If you'd like to move to Shopify as part of the redesign, we'll handle the migration.
What if we don't have much traffic or data?
That's fine. With little data, the redesign leans on proven conversion principles and our 589-point CRO checklist. With more data, we layer your analytics, heatmaps and customer research on top.
What's actually included?
Strategy, data review, customer research where relevant, copywriting, Figma design, development, QA, speed and SEO checks, launch and handover. The exact pages in scope are agreed on your discovery call.
Will my team be able to edit the new site?
Yes. Everything is set up so your team can change text, images, offers and products without touching code, and you get a full walkthrough at handover.
Can this be a one-off project or ongoing work?
Both. Many brands want a single redesign project with a clear scope and end date. Others keep rebuilding and testing pages on an ongoing basis. We'll recommend what fits on your free call.
How much does a website redesign cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a free discovery call, based on the number of templates and what's involved, so you know the full price upfront with no surprises.
Shopify Development
9 answersExplore the serviceHow long does a Shopify project take?
It depends on scope. A single custom feature often ships in one to two weeks; a full custom theme takes longer. You get an honest, fixed timeline with your quote, not a padded one.
Can you work on our existing theme?
Yes. We can refactor, speed up or extend any theme, including Dawn, other premium themes or a custom theme someone else built. Often the fastest win is improving the theme you already have.
Will our live store be affected while you work?
No. We build on a duplicate draft theme, so your live store keeps selling. You preview everything and we only publish when you approve it.
Do you work with page builders like PageFly, GemPages or Replo?
Yes. If your team works in a page builder, we'll build inside it. For new custom sections we usually recommend native Liquid, because it's faster and lighter.
Can you replace our paid apps with custom code?
Often, yes. Bundles, size guides, upsells and many widgets can be built natively, which removes the monthly fee and speeds up your store. We'll tell you which apps are worth keeping.
Do you work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. We handle checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions, Markets and B2B setups, plus migrating old checkout scripts.
Is this a one-off project or ongoing?
Both. You can commission a single project, like a custom theme or a bundle builder, or keep us on a monthly retainer for new features, fixes and improvements.
Who actually writes the code?
Every project is led by our founder, Ifti Nur, a Shopify Partner with 6+ years of Shopify experience. No anonymous hand-offs, and the same team does your CRO.
How much does Shopify development cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a free discovery call, based on what's involved, so you know the full price upfront with no surprises.
Custom Website Development
9 answersExplore the serviceWhy custom code instead of a template or page builder?
Templates and page builders load code for features you never use, which slows your site and limits what you can change. A custom build only ships what your site needs, so it's faster, easier to rank and designed around how your customers buy, not around a theme's layout.
Will my team be able to edit the website?
Yes. We set up an editor for the content you change often, like text, images, blog posts and team members, so you can update the site without touching code or breaking the design.
Which platform will you build on?
Whatever fits the job. Most marketing and business sites suit a custom WordPress theme. Content-heavy or app-like sites can suit a headless setup, and stores usually belong on Shopify. We'll recommend one on the discovery call and explain why.
Do I own the website and the code?
Yes. Once the project is paid, the code, design files and content are yours. No lock-in, no proprietary builder, and any good developer can pick it up later.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I move to a new site?
Not if it's done properly. We map every old URL to its new page with 301 redirects, carry over titles and meta descriptions, add structured data and submit the new sitemap, so your existing SEO moves with you.
How long does a custom website take?
It depends on the number of pages and features. You get an honest timeline with your fixed quote after the discovery call, and you can preview progress on a private staging site throughout.
Can you connect our CRM, booking system or other tools?
Yes. Forms, CRMs, booking and payment tools, email platforms and analytics can all be connected, so leads and data land where your team already works.
Do you look after the site after launch?
If you'd like us to. We can handle updates, backups, security and new features on a monthly plan, or simply hand over a clean, documented site to your team.
How much does a custom website cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a free discovery call, based on pages, features and integrations, so you know the full price upfront with no surprises.
Figma UI/UX Design
8 answersExplore the serviceWhat kind of products do you design?
Websites, landing pages, Shopify and e-commerce stores, SaaS marketing sites, web apps, dashboards and iOS or Android app screens, plus the design systems behind them. If it has a screen, we can design it.
Do I own the Figma file?
Yes. You get the full Figma file with organised, named layers, components and styles. It's yours to keep, edit and hand to any developer.
Can you build the design as well?
Yes. We develop what we design on Shopify, WordPress, page builders like Replo, GemPages and PageFly, or fully custom code, so the live site matches the design exactly. Or we hand off a dev-ready file to your own team.
Do you design mobile versions too?
Yes. Every page is designed for desktop and mobile as standard, with layouts made for thumbs and small screens, not just squashed versions of the desktop.
How many revisions do I get?
Revision rounds are agreed upfront in your quote. Because we sign off the wireframe before visual design, most feedback is small refinements rather than starting again.
How long does a design project take?
A single landing page can take days; a full website or app takes longer. You get a fixed timeline with your quote before any work starts.
Can you improve a design we already have?
Yes. We can review and redesign an existing Figma file or live site, keep what works, and fix what's hurting usability and conversions.
How much does UI/UX design cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a free discovery call, based on the number of screens and what's involved, so you know the full price upfront with no surprises.
SEO
8 answersExplore the serviceHow long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes can help within weeks, but SEO usually builds over several months as Google crawls, tests and trusts your pages. That's why we fix the quick technical wins first while the content work compounds.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google's rankings. What we can promise is a clear plan, the right work done properly and honest reporting on what's moving.
Do you do SEO for Shopify?
Yes, Shopify and Shopify Plus are a big part of what we do. We handle collection and product page SEO, structured data, duplicate URLs, site speed and the theme fixes most SEO agencies can't make themselves.
What about AI search like ChatGPT and Google's AI answers?
We optimise for those too: clear structure, structured data, helpful content that answers real questions and an llms.txt file, so AI tools can understand and cite your site.
Will a new website hurt my rankings?
Not if it's handled properly. We map every old URL to its new page with 301 redirects, keep titles and content that rank, and submit the new sitemap, so your SEO moves with you.
Do you write the content?
Yes. We plan topics around what your buyers search for, then write or brief the content, from collection descriptions to guides, so it ranks and helps people buy.
How do you report on SEO?
A plain-English monthly report covering rankings for your target keywords, organic traffic, the pages bringing in revenue and what we did that month.
How much does SEO cost?
SEO is usually a monthly engagement with a fixed price agreed after a free discovery call, based on the size of your site and how competitive your market is.
Google Ads (PPC)
8 answersExplore the serviceDo you manage Google Shopping and Performance Max?
Yes. We run Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns for e-commerce brands, plus remarketing, and we keep your product feed clean so the right products show for the right searches.
What makes you different from other PPC agencies?
Most PPC agencies stop at the click. We also build and optimise the landing pages the ads send people to, so you get more sales from the same budget instead of just more traffic.
How much should I spend on Google Ads?
It depends on your products, margins and market. We'll look at your numbers on the discovery call and recommend a starting budget that can produce reliable data without wasting money.
How soon will I see results?
Ads start showing as soon as campaigns go live. The first few weeks are about gathering data and cutting waste; performance usually improves as we refine targeting, bids and landing pages.
Do I keep ownership of my Google Ads account?
Yes. Campaigns run in your own account, so you keep all the data and history if you ever move on.
Can you fix my tracking?
Yes. Accurate conversion tracking is the first thing we check. We set up or repair conversions, GA4 and enhanced conversions so Google optimises towards real sales.
How do you report on performance?
A plain-English monthly report covering spend, sales, cost per sale and return on ad spend, plus what we changed and what we'll test next.
How do you charge?
A fixed monthly management fee agreed after a free discovery call. Your ad spend is paid directly to Google, separately.
Content Marketing
8 answersExplore the serviceWhat kind of content do you write?
Product and collection copy, landing page copy, buying guides and blog posts, FAQs, and email copy for flows and campaigns. Everything is written to help a shopper decide, not just to fill a page.
Is the content written for SEO or for conversions?
Both. We plan topics around what your customers search for, then write so the page answers their questions and moves them towards buying. Ranking only matters if the visitor buys.
Where do your ideas and messaging come from?
From your customers. We read your reviews, support questions and survey answers, look at search data and study competitors, so the words match how your buyers actually think and talk.
Do you use AI to write?
We use tools to speed up research, but every piece is planned, written and edited by people who understand your product and customers, then checked for accuracy and tone.
Can you match our brand voice?
Yes. We start by agreeing your voice and a few writing rules, then keep every piece consistent with them, whether it's a product page or a welcome email.
Will you publish it on our store?
Yes. We can format and publish content directly on Shopify or WordPress, including headings, images, internal links and structured data.
How do you measure success?
It depends on the content: rankings and organic traffic for guides, conversion rate and add-to-carts for product and landing pages, and opens, clicks and revenue for emails.
How do you charge?
Either per project, like rewriting your top product pages, or as a monthly content plan. Every engagement gets a fixed price after a free discovery call.
Email & SMS Automation
8 answersExplore the serviceWhich platform do you use?
Mostly Klaviyo, which works brilliantly with Shopify for both email and SMS. If you already use another platform, we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth moving.
Which flows should we start with?
Usually abandoned cart and checkout, welcome series and post-purchase, because they reach people at the moments they're most likely to buy. We'll check what you have and prioritise the gaps.
Do you design and write the emails?
Yes. Every email is designed to match your brand, written to sell, and built to look right on mobile, where most emails are opened.
Is SMS right for my brand?
SMS works best for time-sensitive messages like cart reminders, launches and limited offers. We set it up with clear consent and keep it short and useful, so it adds sales without annoying people.
What about GDPR and consent?
We set up sign-up forms, consent and unsubscribe options properly for email and SMS, so you only message people who've agreed to hear from you.
Why do my emails go to spam?
Often it's missing domain authentication, an old or unengaged list, or sending too much too fast. We fix the technical setup and clean up your list so more emails reach the inbox.
How do you measure results?
Revenue from flows and campaigns, plus open, click and conversion rates, tracked in Klaviyo and reported in plain English every month.
How do you charge?
Either a one-off flow build or a monthly plan that includes campaigns and ongoing optimisation. Every engagement gets a fixed price after a free discovery call.
The Conversion Notes newsletter
6 answersRead the newsletter pageHow often will I hear from you?
Once a week. One email, about a three-minute read. No daily emails and no surprise sales sequences.
What do I get when I subscribe?
Straight away, a welcome email with the 10 quick wins we find most often when we audit online stores. Then one new issue every week.

Is it only for Shopify stores?
Most examples come from Shopify and e-commerce, but the ideas apply to any site that sells online or generates leads, including landing pages and WordPress sites.
