Ifti started as a Shopify developer and team lead at MixerfyCommerce, running a remote team that shipped Shopify stores, PageFly builds and custom features. In 2025 he founded TechGenix IT to run projects end to end, from Figma design to Shopify build.

How long does a Shopify project take?
It depends on scope. A single custom feature often ships in one to two weeks; a full custom theme takes longer. You get an honest, fixed timeline with your quote, not a padded one.
Can you work on our existing theme?
Yes. We can refactor, speed up or extend any theme, including Dawn, other premium themes or a custom theme someone else built. Often the fastest win is improving the theme you already have.
Will our live store be affected while you work?
No. We build on a duplicate draft theme, so your live store keeps selling. You preview everything and we only publish when you approve it.
Do you work with page builders like PageFly, GemPages or Replo?
Yes. If your team works in a page builder, we'll build inside it. For new custom sections we usually recommend native Liquid, because it's faster and lighter.
Can you replace our paid apps with custom code?
Often, yes. Bundles, size guides, upsells and many widgets can be built natively, which removes the monthly fee and speeds up your store. We'll tell you which apps are worth keeping.
Do you work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. We handle checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions, Markets and B2B setups, plus migrating old checkout scripts.
Is this a one-off project or ongoing?
Both. You can commission a single project, like a custom theme or a bundle builder, or keep us on a monthly retainer for new features, fixes and improvements.
